Original 1930 French lithograph poster for the 8ème Bal de l’AAAA, designed by Paul Emile Pissarro (1884–1972), the son of renowned Impressionist painter Camille Pissarro. This rare textless version of the poster features a striking Art Deco composition of a dancing couple illuminated by dramatic yellow and pink spotlights, creating a theatrical “light show” effect on the dance floor.
Printed in France, this antique poster measures 31″ x 47″ and is in excellent condition, ready for framing. Pissarro’s design beautifully captures the glamour and movement of Parisian artists’ balls in the early 20th century, making it a highly collectible example of French Art Deco poster art.
