Original travel brochure Qantas Scenes from Japan. Dual-sided as shown in the images here. The brochure and map are 30” x 17.25” when unfolded. In very good shape and a rare promotional piece created by one of Qantas’s greatest artists.

Sellheim produced posters for the Australian National Travel Association, and his most renowned design is Qantas Airlines’ distinctive flying kangaroo logo, created in 1947. During the 1940s and 1950s, Sellheim created letterheads, posters, souvenir menus, and magazine cover designs for Qantas, for whom he also designed the distinctive flying kangaroo logo in 1947, which is still in use today, in a slightly modified form. Sellheim died in 1970.
