The upper-left outside border was repaired during the linen backing, preventing this poster from being a 100-year-old, perfect-condition vintage poster.
This image, created by the artist George Illion, depicts a line of trucks bearing the word “food” on their sides, traveling to deliver supplies to our troops and allies. One lone soldier is shown directing traffic to keep the trucks moving.
The trucks are painted Army green because many computer monitors display different color tones. The “Keep” and “Coming” are in pumpkin-orange lettering. This is an original World War 1 poster lithograph printed over 100 years ago.
