Original Rick Griffin Big Brother and the Holding Company Poster FD079, Family Dog Denver Dog Concert, first printing B (1967) — Blue Cheer Large Format captures the ambition of the Family Dog’s “Denver Dog” program with a richly illustrated, horizontal design. Created as a first printing B in the larger format, this edition was issued in a run of 2,000 (with the poster FD079. A second first printing exists in the smaller 14 3/16 × 20 in. size, making this version the standout for scale and presentation.
The credited lineup centers on Big Brother and the Holding Company alongside Blue Cheer and The Eighth Penny Matter.
