Description

Original early turn of the century lithograph of a group of British formally dressed hunters doing the running of the hounds and the fox hunt. It appears that they are preparing for the afternoon stop at the local pub for a glass of ‘good ale’. Children and more dogs are at play on the dirt road which features a carriage arriving at the pub at the same time. Horizontal format presented in an acid free 16 x 20″ mat suitable for framing. In excellent condition.

One of the great fox hunting; running of the hounds; turn of the century original lithograph done in 1912. The image features classic British hunters in their high hats; coat and tails following the hounds on their hunt for the fox.
