This rare Italian travel poster has been professionally linen backed and conservation mounted, with minor restoration to the outer borders completed during linen backing. The poster remains in very good condition and is ready for framing.
Ravaglia’s composition highlights the magnificent Palermo Cathedral, one of Sicily’s most celebrated architectural landmarks. The artwork focuses on the historic portico designed by Domenico and Antonello Gagini, while the cathedral’s elaborate Gothic and Norman architectural elements rise dramatically in the background.
