Description

Et pour quelques dollars de plus (For a Few Dollars More) | French Grande, 1965 | Sergio Leone

Original French grande-format theatrical poster for Et pour quelques dollars de plus (For a Few Dollars More), released in 1965 and directed by Sergio Leone, the second installment in the “Man with No Name” trilogy. Issued for theatrical display in France, the design presents a vivid, painterly composition centered on Clint Eastwood with rifle in hand, accompanied by Lee Van Cleef and a supporting cast of gunmen arranged against a fiery, high-contrast Western backdrop. The bold color palette and dynamic figuration reflect the heightened visual language that came to define the Spaghetti Western. Starring Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef, and Gian Maria Volonté, with music by Ennio Morricone. Printer not identified. This example is an original lithograph, professionally acid-free conservation mounted and linen backed, in excellent condition with only minor handling wear at the edges.
