Original Swedish release poster for Nöd lögnen (The Lie), issued in 1922 for the American silent film Just Around the Corner (1924), starring Sigrid Holmquist (also known as Sie Holmqvist). This lithographic one-sheet presents a striking, modernist composition of a seated female figure framed within concentric circular forms, rendered in bold blocks of color and simplified contouring characteristic of early 1920s Scandinavian graphic design. Printed using period lithographic processes typical of Swedish poster production, allowing for strong chromatic contrast and graphic clarity.
