Original poster printed by the U.S. Food Administration during World War One. Archival linen backed and ready to frame. A condition, no stains, tears, no sunbleaching, no visable damage. Excellent addition to any military collection. Bugle Away!

The image is a World War I era recruitment poster for the United States Navy. It features a sailor in uniform blowing a bugle, with the American flag waving behind him. The poster’s text reads: “YOUR COUNTRY NEEDS YOU! JOIN THE NAVY NOW! FOR INFORMATION, APPLY TO THE RECRUITING STATION OR THE NAVY LEAGUE.” The poster uses bold colors and a dramatic pose to encourage people to join the Navy.
The poster has been archival-mounted on linen and received minimal restoration. Printed by the W. F. Powers Litho Co. NY. WWI USA Recruitment. A variation of this poster is worded with “War Clouds Gather” along the bottom.
The bugler is silhouetted with the ocean in the background, with the flag
drapping over one corner of this vintage poster.
