Presented in an acid-free 16 × 20 in. folder for added protection and display. This horizontal lobby card features Jean Harlow and Loretta Young with Robert Williams, Haliwell Hobbes, and Reginald Owen, directed by Frank Capra. Though not the star, Jean Harlow is closely associated with the film, forever synonymous with the “platinum blonde.” In this scene, the newspaper-world storyline unfolds as fellow reporters Stew Smith (Robert Williams) and Gallagher (Loretta Young) are congratulated by their office comrades. Beautiful, richly saturated color and period detail, with a small pin hole noted at the top edge of the cream border.
