Poster artist Henry Patrick Raleigh was born in 1880 in San Francisco and drew illustrations and covers for the Saturday Evening Post and Cosmopolitan. He is best known for the dramatic use of heavy line and memorable copy in his war posters.
Linen, backed with restoration on the bottom-left and bottom-right corners. Repair the white area on the right side of the middle. Very well done, but this is now a B condition poster. The linen-backed price reflects the B condition of this poster, but it does present very well.
