Details: This poster is a war propaganda ad featuring a young man holding a pitchfork. The text at the bottom reads ‘Fight World Famine. Enroll in The Boys Working Reserve.’ Due to a shortage of workers in the United States, particularly in agriculture, young boys, ages 16 to 20, were encouraged to enroll in The Boys’ Working Reserve during the summer months to work on farms. This was an attempt to relieve the chronic food shortage in the United States. Excellent condition
