The Rough Riders were a cowboy trio consisting of Buck Jones, Tim McCoy, and Raymond Hatton who starred in many Monogram “Rough Rider” films, including Arizona Bound, Forbidden Trails, and Riders of the West.
(Earliest Rough Riders: The most famous of all the units fighting in Cuba, the “Rough Riders” was the name given to the First U.S. Volunteer Cavalry under the leadership of Theodore Roosevelt.)
